She lay there looking up the other planet, a planet they called Earth. Its colours reminded her of the way Mars had once been like before the attack and the devastation that had followed. She had been torn apart that night and had run. She ran from the scene on her bike with her mother’s necklace hanging around her tan neck.

Her face was tear stained and the usually tidy bangs of tan, darker than her fur and tipped with an even darker tan, hair that fell in front of her face were now scruffy and all over the pace.

She took a deep sigh and sat up and walked over to her black bike, “Come on princess we need to get away from here, find somewhere that we can stay for a while.”

Her bike beeped softly and with the rider mounted sped off in the direction they had been travelling, away from home.

Unsure where she was going she just carried on going and going. What she didn’t notice was that she was being followed

There were splashes of sand flying up around her and a sudden sharp pain in her shoulder, she turned and saw those stinking fish.

“Get the rodent!” came a command from behind her.

She kept going, “Come on princess, we can do this. Two more shots skimmed her top giving her two shallow cuts on her side.

They kept going and going but they soon found them selves surrounded by the Plutarkians and had been captured.

They took her and her bike to there ‘HQ’ where she was tested on.

They put princess with other bikes and her to a laboratory where she met him, Dr (if you could really call him that) Karbunkle. He took an interest in poking her with different tools, putting random liquids in her and pointing a laser gun at her.

She unfortunately didn’t have the strength of will to fight. She had lost all those she had ever loved, family and her hero Freedom Fighter.

There were many other mice in the place but she was kept from them. She lost count of the amount of time she was in there but she knew that something would happen that would wake her up.

She had had enough of life until she saw what they were doing to the others, some had no arms or deformed features. She decided that enough was enough and that something had to be done.

There were a couple of days when she was left alone. She used this time to think.

“337 is needed in the lab.” Shouted the high voice she was used to hearing.

Here we go again. She stood knowing what was going to happen.

A Plutark came in and pushed her out of the cell she had got used to. They walked up to the lab. Here she was strapped to a table.

Come on you can do this, it is now or never.

The laser was switched on; she managed to wriggle free from the straps. The movement ment that Karbunkle changed the setting of the laser to destroy. This ment that instead of looking at her insides it would cut any living cell it came into contact with.

Her tail was what got in the way and she lost it, part of her fell lifelessly onto the glossy floor.

Forgetting the pain she ran, hitting all buttons she could to get out, and hopefully set the others free.

Running she found the filled bike garage, “Princess!” she shouted, a bike came racing towards her, “Lets get out of here. Thistle is who I am and now I need to act like they would have done.”

She rode off into the distance finding two mice on the way that helped her. One younger than her, by a couple of months, had one ear missing and was a good mechanic; the other older than her had the same problem as her and so helped her to create a new tail similar to his.
